We donate 100% of net profits to environmental initiatives through The Nature Conservancy

Where GiveBack100 Goes

Nearly $70,000 contributed to The Nature Conservancy since 2024

We exist to give back to the planet that gives us everything. Through our GiveBack100 initiative, we donate 100% of net profits to conservation and restoration efforts. Since 2024, that’s meant nearly $70,000 directed to high-impact programs through The Nature Conservancy supporting healthier oceans, protected lands and waters and restored forests.

Here’s exactly where those funds go and why it matters.

Coral Reef Protection

What it is: Coral reefs support over 1 billion people worldwide, providing food, livelihoods and natural coastal protection. But rising ocean temperatures are triggering mass bleaching events, putting these ecosystems at risk of collapse.

Why it matters: Reefs are the foundation of marine biodiversity. They also act as natural barriers, protecting coastlines from erosion and storm damage. When reefs disappear, entire ocean ecosystems and the communities that depend on them are threatened.

What our support helps accomplish: Tellus funding supports The Nature Conservancy’s work to identify and protect “super reefs,” which are coral systems that have shown resilience to warming waters. These reefs hold critical insights for restoration and are key to helping coral ecosystems survive and recover in a changing climate.

Land & Water Conservation

What it is: Across the United States, biodiversity is declining at an alarming rate as habitats are fragmented or lost.

Why it matters: Healthy lands and waters sustain life from the food we grow to the water we drink. When habitats are lost, the balance that supports these resources begins to break down. Protecting these systems is essential for both ecological and human well-being.

What our support helps accomplish: Tellus supports efforts to conserve 30% of U.S. lands and waters by 2030. This includes protecting critical habitats, restoring ecosystems and ensuring that landscapes remain resilient for wildlife and future generations.

Reforestation

What it is: In Colorado, increasingly severe wildfires are preventing forests from regenerating naturally, with many landscapes struggling to recover on their own.

Why it matters: Forests play a vital role in watershed protection and outdoor recreation. Without intervention, some ecosystems may be permanently altered.

What our support helps accomplish: Tellus funding helps restore forests that cannot regenerate independently through replanting efforts and watershed protection. Healthy forests support clean water, biodiversity, agriculture and the outdoor spaces we all rely on.

Why We Chose These Programs

We focus our giving where it can create lasting, system-wide impact:

  • Oceans regulate our climate and support billions of people
  • Land and water systems sustain biodiversity and human health
  • Forests capture carbon and protect essential ecosystems

Together, these efforts address the root challenges of climate change and environmental degradation and help protect the planet at scale.

How You Direct the Impact

Every Tellus purchase contributes to GiveBack100. At checkout, you can choose which of these three programs your purchase supports: coral reefs, land & water conservation or reforestation.

It’s a simple way to align what you wear with what you stand for and to be part of the impact.

The Tellus Difference

The apparel industry is one of the most resource-intensive on the planet. We believe it can and should be part of the solution. By using recycled materials, reducing waste and giving back 100% of net profits, we’re working to create gear that does more than perform. It gives back. Because protecting the planet isn’t optional. It’s the reason we exist.
