GiveBack100
100% Net Profits Donated
Less than 2% of all charitable contributions globally go towards our most significant threats: climate change & biodiversity loss. That’s why we created GiveBack100 - our mission and pledge to donate 100% of net profits to environmental conservation through The Nature Conservancy. And we let you choose which cause matters most to you.
GiveBack100 Commitment
We are proud to support The Nature Conservancy (TNC) through our GiveBack100 initiative. As one of the world’s leading conservation organizations, TNC protects lands, waters and ecosystems around the world.
Through GiveBack100, we’ve selected three vital programs—and the best part is you choose where your impact goes: Coral Reef Protection worldwide, Land & Water Conservation across the United States and Reforestation right here in our home state of Colorado.
Why GiveBack100?
Apparel manufacturing is one of the most resource-intensive and polluting industries on the planet. It creates:
- 10% of global carbon emissions
- 85% of textiles end up in landfills or incinerated
That’s why Tellus commits to reinvesting 100% of net profits back to the planet. Through our GiveBack100 pledge, we invest in initiatives that counteract the damage created by the very resources our industry consumes. Our support helps restore forests, protect watersheds and rebuild habitats and conserve biodiversity.
By embracing circular practices and redirecting profits toward regeneration, Tellus is working to close the loop. We believe outdoor apparel can be more than just functional gear—it can be a force for good. Because protecting nature is protecting our future.
How It Works
At Tellus, GiveBack100 works because we operate as a social enterprise—not a traditional retailer. After covering essentials—fair pay for our team, materials, and operating costs—every remaining dollar of profit is donated. The Tellus founders chose not to take salaries— so more dollars go back to restoration and conservation.
The more we grow, the greater our impact.
“Tellus is about more than making a one-time gift; it’s about building a business model where giving back is built into our very infrastructure—sustaining impact year after year.”
