Tellus strives to prove business can be a force for environmental good within the outdoor apparel industry. We do this by producing high-quality products using recycled and organic materials and by giving back 100% of our net profits to environmental conservation and restoration.
Responsibly-made women’s outdoor clothing
All Tellus outdoor apparel for women incorporates recycled or organic material. Most fabrics are sourced through bluesign® certified mills and manufacturing partners, and our outerwear uses PFC-free treatments. Our apparel isn't just kinder to the planet — it actively helps regenerate it by giving waste a new life and by supporting conservation and restoration efforts through our GiveBack100 commitment.
Our women’s outdoor clothing is made for longevity and meets high-quality performance standards. We designed our outdoor wear for women with subtle refinements to cut, seams and functional details including pocket, zipper and button locations. And careful consideration was given to how a woman moves, her stride, her reach and how she bends to ensure each piece fits and performs comfortably.
Our women’s outdoor clothing is designed with equal consideration of fashion, function, style and performance. From plateau to peak, our recycled polyester jackets keep heat in and the elements out. Sleek, moisture-wicking shirts fit like a second skin with a sun-blocking barrier. Pants and leggings move comfortably from tackling personal challenges to resting in a hammock.
Recycled materials for performance
Where performance is key, responsible material innovation plays an important role in how Tellus designs outdoor clothing for women. Our products incorporate at least 75% recycled materials, with select items crafted from 100% recycled material. Nearly all Tellus apparel is made in bluesign® certified mills or manufacturing partners that support safer chemical management and responsible production practices. In addition, our outdoor apparel and accessories feature a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment that is free of perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), which promotes a cleaner environment and cleaner products.
