"At Trees, Water & People, I have the privilege of traveling abroad to Mexico and Central America to visit partners and rural communities. Those visits take me to some amazing locations and the Trail Ridge Trek pants and the Poudre Trail Performance Quarter -Zip are my go-tos for any quick trail, community lunch and walk with colleagues. Both items are durable, breathable and comfortable with great pockets and zippers. My other two favorite items for a cool night, a foggy walk or an unexpected change of weather are the Timberline Soft Shell Jacket and the Front Range Fleece, both super light and compact. "As a research scientist with the Colorado Natural Heritage Program I spend time both in front of a computer (more than I would like!) and out in the field, and the Tellus Trail Ridge Trek pants are fantastic in both situations. Around the office and in meetings they look sharp and are super comfortable and in the field they shine through whatever situations I get myself into. The fabric is robust but never feels awkward and the pants have kept me dry pushing through snowdrifts, well-ventilated wandering across sand dunes and warm burrowing around in alpine bogs.
