First Friday - Poetry Reading & Upcycled Bookmaking
First Friday at Tellus – Poetry & Upcycled Bookmaking
Friday, August 4 • 6–9 PM
Join us for an inspiring evening of poetry and creativity at Tellus | 401 Linden Street!
We’re thrilled to welcome Kathleen Willard, Tellus Eco Poet-in-Residence, for pop-up poetry readings from her new book The Next Noise Is Our Hearts — a powerful collection of nature and environmental poetry.
Plus, don’t miss a hands-on Upcycled Bookmaking Workshop with Bethany Economos of SomOnOce Studios. Learn to make handmade journals using vintage maps, sheet music, and other rescued paper goods — perfect for poetry, journaling, or gifting.
$$ Sliding scale fee: $7–$20 based on materials. All supplies provided.
